August 18, 2026
These Peanut Butter Honey Energy Bites are the perfect grab-and-go snack when you need a little boost. Made with creamy peanut butter, pure honey, and old-fashioned rolled oats, they’re naturally sweet, satisfying, and incredibly easy to make.
There’s no baking required and no complicated ingredient list—just simple pantry staples rolled into bite-sized snacks. Make a batch at the beginning of the week and keep them in the refrigerator for busy mornings, afternoon snacks, road trips, or a quick pick-me-up.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Chill Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes
Servings: About 18–20 energy bites
Course: Snack
Difficulty: Easy
Recommended Honey: Browning’s Honey Clover Honey or Buckwheat Honey
Choose one or two if you want to dress them up:
Too sticky? Add another tablespoon or two of rolled oats.
Too dry or crumbly? Add a little more peanut butter or honey until the mixture holds together.
Make them uniform. A small cookie scoop makes portioning the bites quick and easy.
Give them time to chill. The oats absorb some of the moisture as the mixture rests, helping the energy bites hold their shape.
Add ¼ cup mini chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder.
Add chopped dried strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries.
Add ½ teaspoon cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg.
Mix shredded coconut into the energy bites or roll the finished bites in coconut.
Use crunchy peanut butter and add chopped peanuts.
Store Peanut Butter Honey Energy Bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
For longer storage, freeze them in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Let frozen bites sit at room temperature for a few minutes before eating.
Honey does more than add sweetness to these energy bites. It also helps bind the oats and peanut butter together while adding its own naturally delicious flavor.
Unlike a snack made with refined sugar, pure honey brings sweetness and flavor in one simple ingredient. Paired with peanut butter and rolled oats, it makes these little bites an easy option when you need something quick and satisfying.
