Preheat your oven to 425ยฐF.
Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. Dry wings produce crispier skin.
Place the wings in a large bowl and toss with the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Arrange the wings in a single layer on a wire rack set over a foil-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 40โ45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Air Fryer Option: Cook at 380ยฐF for 22โ25 minutes, shaking halfway through. Increase the temperature to 400ยฐF for the final 3โ5 minutes for extra crispiness.
While the wings bake, combine the honey, garlic, soy sauce, butter, apple cider vinegar, and crushed red pepper flakes in a small saucepan.
Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat for 3โ5 minutes.
For a thicker glaze, whisk in the cornstarch slurry and simmer for another minute until glossy.
Transfer the hot wings to a large bowl.
Pour the warm glaze over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
For an extra sticky finish, return the glazed wings to the oven for 5 minutes before serving.
Store leftover wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Reheat in a 375ยฐF oven or air fryer for 8โ10 minutes to restore their crispy texture. While these wings can be frozen for up to 2 months, they’re best enjoyed fresh.
Honey provides natural sweetness while adding rich flavor and helping create a beautifully caramelized glaze that perfectly complements the garlic and savory seasonings.
