In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and hot sauce.
Add the chicken, making sure every piece is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best flavor and tenderness.
In a large shallow dish, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, thyme, and baking powder.
Remove each piece of chicken from the marinade, allowing the excess to drip off, then coat thoroughly in the seasoned flour mixture. Press the coating firmly onto the chicken.
Allow the coated chicken to rest for 10โ15 minutes to help the crust adhere during frying.
Heat 2โ3 inches of oil in a heavy Dutch oven or deep fryer to 325ยฐF.
Carefully fry the chicken in batches without overcrowding the pan.

Transfer the chicken to a wire rack to drain while preparing the glaze.

Brush or drizzle the warm Honey Stinger glaze generously over the fried chicken just before serving.
For an extra sticky finish, drizzle with an additional spoonful of warm Browning’s Honey.
Store leftover chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Reheat in a 375ยฐF oven or air fryer until hot and crispy. Avoid microwaving if possible, as it softens the coating.
Store any extra Honey Stinger glaze separately in the refrigerator for up to 1 week and gently warm before serving.
